KEGS completes software trial with Arrow Energy.

KEGS Software Pty Ltd has just completed a one month trial of ‘KEGS
field developer’ with Arrow Energy.  During this time the software
automatically generated six different gathering network scenarios in one of
Arrow’s tenements.  This included the shortest, one with the least
elevation changes and several options relating to property accessibility. 
That is, if one landowner denied access to their property, KEGS would re-route
around it.  For
a realistic comparison 2 engineer developed networks were also compared. 
Each scenario was fully detailed using standard libraries loaded into
KEGS. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><o:p></o:p><br />

From this we created a scorecard to compare each scenario (cost,
length, well count, crossing count, LPD count and HPV count).  Outputs
were generated to the same fidelity as IFC deliverables (MTO’s, alignment
sheets etc.) New ideas were also investigated such as integration with
hydraulic modelling.  We look forward to working further with Arrow
Energy.<o:p></o:p><br />

do and what is standard practice in oil and gas companies today. It is also of
no surprise why this is often the case: silos of information; inability to
collaborate and share; data ‘invisibility’; and complex operating environments.</span><br />
